Question post
Okay, having a newborn I'm going through the "should I vaccinate" scenario all over again. The boys are vaccinated & one of them still has issues I believe are linked back to the vaccinations (based on the info from 2 experts who told me so). I felt like Ari shouldn't be vaccinated (at least until she enters school & I'm still not sure about that even), so she isn't. Now I'm wondering about Rhett. I just feel like I want to know MORE. I've read a few things & talked with several people, but I'm really wondering if any of you could direct me to articles you've read, give me your opinions, etc. THIS article takes a lot of the arguments against vaccines & addresses those. What do you think? HELP!!

Hi! I know exactly how you feel. I always want to give moms a huge hug who listen to their intuition inspite of doctors calling them idiots. (Yes, I have been called ignorant and negligent for postponing vaccines). I recommend getting the package inserts from your child's dr. They are scary! My dr had no idea that YES some vaccines did still have mercury. (this was 4 years ago). He had no idea fetal bovine serum, aluminum, formaldehyde and other carcinigines are in them. That way you have one up one the ol' doc and you can let them know you aren't willing to use them until that stuff is removed. I really believe that your chances of getting these diseases is small and that if your child does get something like mumps, their immune system will be incredibly strong afterwards. Natural immune boosters and natural remedies for illnesses are powerful and I think we owe it to our kids to know where to turn before going to chemical medicine. All that being said, I think everything I just said is right for my current two kids. Maybe it won't be right for every kid. But I really believe that we as mothers have to absolutely NOT listen or get scared by doctors but to listen to our intuition and the answers will come.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Jenna!!! There are a few great websites I've found that I'll post on here, and some of the books I've read. Amen to Holly's post, too.
